Python Presentations By Rob Clark
Making Learning Fun
|
Python Presentations are both educational and fun.
A special "Thank
You" to the students, faculty, and staff at Glen Alpine Elementary for hosting my most recent Pythons Presentation on
May 16th. and also for the students and stff of Hildebran Elementary for hosting another one of my most recent Python Presentations
on Friday, May 9th!! You guys were all excellent!!!

Help your school to save money on expensive field trips and diesel gas expenses by bringing the
field trip to your school with one of my Python Presentations!
These presentations are an exciting experience
for people of all ages and are ideal for schools, and other gatherings intended more for educational purposes rather than
entertainment. I often relate these pythons and my work with them to what is being taught in public schools in an effort to
relate real world educational applications to students. Such applications include what is taught in geology, Biology,
Math, English, Computer Class, and more.
Python Presentations are often more educational and technical,
geared towards larger more formal crowds than the Python Parties, but if it is a smaller, less formal gathering that you wish
to entertain, please see the Python Party page for details.

Python Presentations can be as brief, or as long as the hosting organization prefers. These presentations
usually start with a fact presentation, explaining many facts about Boas and Pythons including their differences and similarities, sizes,
ages, eating habits, breeding habits, habitats, and much more. The differences between these and many other types of
snakes is also explained. My Python Presentations educate people about the biology and locality of many large snakes.
Groups are taught about behaviors and activities of these large snakes. The practice of conservation is also stressed.
Also discussed, are the dangers of handling snakes that are found in the wild and potentially poisonous, or not used to being
handled on a regular basis.
After the verbal presentation, is the visual presentation, when snakes
are actually presented and discussed as a visual aid to the previous verbal lecture. Soon after, participants are allowed
to touch and handle the presented animals. These are hands on opportunities for people to hold the snakes that they are learning
about. When possible, if preferred, feeding demonstrations resulting in the consumption of a rat, rabbit, or chicken are also
often available. I present a large number of very BIG, and some smaller animals for all to learn about
in a safe controlled environment. Most presentations include nearly $10,000 worth of pythons.
These presentations
are safe, and all snakes are regularly handled. No one has ever been bitten by any of these Pythons that I use in these Educational
Public Python Presentations, and none of these snakes are poisonous! For safety, mouth banding can be done to prevent
bites at the discretion of the hosting agency or school. This is a harmless process that ensures safety. Example of this are
in some of the pics below.
For comfort and security to assist those who are not comfortable around snakes, snake free areas can
be established. This allows for spectators with phobias to also participate in a comfortable setting.
Fees
are determined by the duration of the Presentation. For up to 5 hours, the fee is about $100 per hour. Additional hours
are free up to a total of 8 hours. So, for a 5 to 8 hour presentation, the fee is $500. The fee for a 3 hour presentation
is just $300. The fee covers expenses involved in travels, supplies, and expansion of each and every presentation. Local
presentation discounts are available when well within the Burke County, NC area on a case by case basis. These fees are nearly
50% off the only other local competitor's price!!! That competitor charges $900 daily while only presenting one large
Python and some smaller snake species. I can refer customers to his website for the reasons of comparison upon request.
Python Presentations are available in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. Other state
presentations may be considered on a case by case basis. Depending on the amount of travel involved, some travel fees
may also apply at a rate of about 50 cents per mile beyond round trip distances of 100 miles from Morganton, NC.

All Python Presentations are personally presented by Rob Clark. Presentations are energetic and enthusiastic,
while interesting and educational.
Photography is encouraged at each presentation. Each Python Presentation
will also allow time for questions and answers. As Python Products become available, a vending table with hats, T-shirts,
puzzles, posters, stickers, and much more will be available if requested by the hosting school, business or organization.
